A solar park on your land
Income for you, energy for your neighbors
Lease or sell your land to Tomorrow Energy
Do you have at least 10 hectares of land? And are you looking for an interesting return? If your plot is favourably situated for a solar park, Tomorrow Energy will gladly make you a good offer. Both leasing and selling are possible.
A solar park where everyone wins
The choice for a solar park on your land starts with you. Of course. But developing a solar park successfully always involves teamwork. With the municipality. With local residents. With other stakeholders. It is precisely in this teamwork that the strength of Tomorrow Energy lies.
We develop solar parks where everyone wins:
You win
You insure yourself of a nice income for the next 25-30 years. With the added bonus of peace of mind. You don't have to invest anything yourself, so you don't run any financial risk. Moreover, you don't have to worry about anything. Development, financing, permits, construction, management and maintenance: we take care of it all.
Your neighbours win
We offer you and your neighbours the opportunity to participate financially in the project and to purchase locally generated solar energy.
Nature wins
The soil under and around the solar panels is given the chance to recover. We also take measures to improve biodiversity.
Your municipality wins
The solar park contributes to the climate goals of your municipality
Would you like to know whether your plot is eligible for a solar park and what it will yield for you?
We would be happy to investigate this for you. Fill in the form below and within a week you will know where you stand.
A solar park that produces more than just green energy
A solar park primarily produces green energy. But we believe it is important that the solar panels on your land also serve another purpose:
Improving biodiversity
With the arrival of a solar park, your land will get a breathing space of 25 to 30 years.
That offers opportunities for biodiversity. Certainly if we give it a helping hand by growing flowering plants and herbs. That is beneficial for soil life and for insects that currently have no chance on agricultural land. By leaving enough space between the solar panels, sun and rain can do their work.
Dual use
Do you want to continue using the land under and around the solar panels yourself? For example, to graze small livestock or grow crops? That is also possible. We simply take this into account when designing the solar park.
How we create support among your neighbors
Solar parks are extremely important for the energy transition in the Netherlands. With only solar panels on roofs, we will never achieve the climate goals. However, the arrival of a solar park can raise questions in your area. Understandable. The landscape will change.

Landscape integration
We always pay a lot of attention to the natural integration of our solar parks into the landscape. To hide solar panels from view, we choose to plant a wide, green border, for example. Local residents can also think about this.
Together with our landscape architects, we arrive at a suitable design.
That is why we involve local residents and other stakeholders in the development of the solar park from the start. For example, we organize walk-in evenings, where we take people along in our story. We start the conversation and see how we can take everyone into account as much as possible.

Participation
In addition, we offer various options to participate in the project. Such as becoming a co-owner through a local energy cooperative. People can also invest in the solar park by purchasing bonds with an attractive interest rate.
Furthermore, local residents can expect a nice offer to purchase the locally generated green energy at an attractive rate through one of our energy partners.
The roadmap of your solar park
A solar park is not built overnight. It is always custom work and a whole process precedes it. The entire process of developing, building, managing and (after 25 - 30 years) dismantling is in good hands with us.
It looks like this.
Inventory and research
We first check whether your plot is eligible for a solar park. That is certainly not always the case. To start with, your plot must be at least 10 hectares in size. In addition, the location is important. Is your plot in a preferred area of the municipality? Is there a connection station nearby? Are there obstacles between the connection station and your plot? Is there still space on the grid? Do we arrive at a profitable business case based on this research? Then we will sit down with you and you will receive a financial proposal.
Drafting option agreement
Together with you, we record agreements in a so-called option agreement. We take your wishes into account. Do you want to lease or sell the land? Do you also want to participate in the solar park and become a co-owner? Perhaps you want to continue using the plot yourself, for example to graze small livestock or grow crops. All matters that we clearly record. The term of the option agreement is usually 3 years. We need that time for the preparation, development and financing phase.
No Regret Check
We want to work together sustainably in every respect. Clear, honest and transparent. This includes making a safe, well-considered choice, in which the fiscal consequences are also carefully considered. That is why you can engage your own independent fiscal and legal advisor at our expense to review the agreement. So you know exactly what you are saying yes to
Project start-up and communication
We make an initial plan and submit a request in principle to the municipality. The plan describes the technical design, the integration of the solar park into the landscape and the participation possibilities. We always strive for a master plan that is seamlessly aligned with the local situation. We also involve local residents and other stakeholders in the plan from the start. We organize walk-in evenings, present the ideas and enter into discussions to create support.
Development and elaboration
After the municipality's agreement in principle, we will further develop the business case and the technical design. We will do this together with technical experts and landscape architects. We will have capacity studies done, soil studies, flora and fauna research, map waterways and further develop the landscape integration. We will then apply for the required environmental permit (Wabo).
Subsidy and financing
After the environmental permit has been granted, the next step is to apply for the SDE++ subsidy. This Incentive Scheme for Sustainable Energy Production and Climate Transition is an operating subsidy for the first 15 years. Tomorrow Energie provides the full financing. We raise money from green investors or, if desired, set up a local cooperative in which local residents can participate.
Building and installing
We make all the necessary preparations for the construction. From making agreements with the grid operator to performing a zero measurement of the ground. Then we start with the construction and installation of the solar panels on the plot. We also install greenery and other facilities according to plan.
Operation, monitoring and management
We connect the solar park to the power grid and start producing and supplying green energy. We then continue to monitor and maintain the solar park, so that it remains in top condition for the next 25 to 30 years.
Dismantle
After 25 to 30 years, we dismantle the installation and the plot is available for other purposes again. To guarantee that the soil quality has remained at least the same, we perform a soil measurement. The starting point is that we leave the soil in better condition than when we first started using it. We give the solar panels a second life by donating them to someone else or by recycling them.
