Purchase of grid connection station site completed

The location for the grid connection station of Holland Battery 2 has been officially acquired. Groningen Seaports has approved the purchase. This allows Enexis to proceed with the planned cable installation in Q1 2026. The acquisition concerns cadastral plot UHZ02-A-4054.

Additionally, Holland Battery 2 will have a capacity of 46 MW / 184 MWh. With this project, we help stabilize the grid by storing surplus electricity and feeding it back when needed. Behind the meter, we also support several businesses with their grid connections.
